Cosy Crescent is a shawl with infinite possibilities. You can use oddments of yarns, all plain, all variegated, gradients or a different weight of yarn to the fingering (4 ply) suggested.

The lace bands are offset by the garter band. The pattern includes written instructions and charts. The stitches used are: k, p, k-tbl, M1L, M1R, yo and k2tog.

The shawl can be made bigger if you want to wrap it around your neck several times, or smaller if you want a neckerchief. Just bear in mind that if you want it to be bigger, you will need more yarn. The stretchy bind-off will use quite a bit of yarn, so if you keep on going to finish up a skein, leave about 3 times the amount you would for a normal bind-off.
