I am not sure where to post this or how to even be able to send a message to a mediator.   I have posted a few pattern that I have translated on here, and Leopard Danio (a mediator) has recycled my patterns with a messge to me saying the the word "join" does not make sense in the pattern!!  I am not able to contact this person to deal with this.

Are you serious, the word "join" makes so much sense.  Obviuosly you are are not a crocheter Leopard, if you were you would know what "join" means.  The word "join" means to join to the beginning of the round.   Almost every crochet patterns that works in rounds contains this word "join".  I have never had not had an issue with other patterns which contain the word "join"

If you are seeing this Leopard Danio, please put my translated patterns back into the threads.   They are good translation.

Can someone please help with this issue, as I am upset and frustrated with the fact that I can not conntact this person

Thank you for your response.   It seems funny how this one person has an issue when i have submitted ...

Please do it! Im a crocheter and Ive been a moderator of the crochet forum for over 4 years. So, Im familiar with wrong translations. In case you havent noticed, there are 5 moderators for the crochet forum. Maybe if I had had moderated your other patterns Id have done the same thing.  However, in case I missed that, Ill send your other patterns to recycled if I find them. I had contacted you and told you the problem with your translation. If you want me to approve that, correct that cause thats not common in crochet patterns. Check out some samples of English patterns and youll see youve been using a confusing word.
Thanks for your time. :)

Maybe she is looking for "how to join"  i.e.,  slip stitch to join.  dc to join, sc to join etc.,  etc.   I know when I submitted a pattern that was
rejected that is what I discovered, so instead of waiting I re entered it again with the spell out more wordy version and it was accepted.(let admin clean up the recycle ones that they deemed as such)....  I doubled checked the US vs UK terms and symbols and they do have "join as in how" spelled out in detail.   Note:  I use a dc or sc to join when doing a chainless foundation in the round.     Hopefully you will get a response one way or the other.

Thank you for your response.   It seems funny how this one person has an issue when i have submitted translated before the same way and never had a problem.    I plan on making some changes and resubmitting.

I also posted many translations. I never had a problem, but I have to say, if it would be refused because of a word like "join". I would stop translating.

I wonder if they even know how much work translating a pattern is :(

@AZimmer. In this case I believe leopard danio is correct. If you do not chain one at the beginning of the next row, join is inappropriate. If this is an amigurumi type of pattern no rounds or rows are joined and its just continuous single crochets up to a point where you should have a marker. The first stitch after that marker is the first stitch of the next round and therefore no join. I hope this explains this better.

I am getting extremely frusterated and at the verge of deleting my account.  I have changed the translation format on my a few of my patterns and added a chain to the begining of every round in hopes this would solve the issue, and resubmitted.         But YET AGAIN I am finding that leopard danio is sending them to recycled, did she even bother to take an actual look at the changes?  I feel that this is getting rather ridiculous.         There is no way to not take this personally now.          I would like to be able to have someone else look at moderating the patterns that I post, since there is no way to contact any other admin or moderator, I am posting here.  Can someone please contact me via email or message to clear this up.
