Problems with file size???

So I seem to be experiencing  a problem some others have had.  Im trying to upload a file and it says the attachment is too big.  It is WAY under the allotted 10 meg size.  I tried to upload a photo, appeared to be going OK then it didnt have the space to put in the description.  

Anyone else having this problem or is it isolated to me??

I am having a problem too, the error just says "files of this type not allowed" but it is a .jpg or .gif and should work, also well under the allotted file size. Is there any solution?

Just add to archive the file with maximum 5MB size. And there will be no problems :)

same problem.. says file type not allowed (jpg) and file size too big (1.6 mb crochet pattern)
