Babycakes Cardigan by Laura Aylor

The shoulders are each cast on provisionally and knit separately, then joined by casting on the center back stitches.
Each front is knit down from the provisional shoulder cast on and the tops of the sleeves are picked up along the sides.
The sleeve caps are then knit along with the body to the underams.
The sleeves are put on waste yarn to be finished later.
Garter bands in a contrasting color are worked on all the edges.
