This pattern is perfect with worsted weight wool yarns but can be adapted for thinner or bulkier yarns
or even a combination of the two. Use the as written sizing for yarns such as Gaia Organic Merino,
Licorice Twist, 1 or 3-ply merino, KnitPicks Wool of the Andes, Cascade 220, Patons Classic, and Lions
Brand wool. I recommend sizing down one size for thicker, bulkier, or ‘stickier’ yarns like Cestari, Aran
BFL, Gaia Bulky, and some Ramboulliet yarns and perhaps using smaller needles. For cotton, use a
size smaller pattern or needles to account for difference in stretch.
There are three patterns in the pdf. I made this for my first great-granddaughter :-) This paern is knit seamlessly, from the top down. The variations described can be used for boys or girls, with or with-out a collar, sleeveless for summer, longsleeved for winter or modified to be a simple shirt. This onesie is perfect as a cover
for cloth diapers and can be warn as a barrier under other clothes when
