When will you start holiday decorating?

I will start on November 24th. I do not do black Friday shopping. I will work on my decorating. I prefer to do all of my non-perishable shopping online and earn extra cash for doing so.

What is your favorite holiday decoration?
Mine is my ceramic Christmas tree that lights up. However this year I have jumped on the little red truck craze. So I am looking forward to changing out the pumpkins to something for December.

What is the little red truck craze?

Here are some pictures of red truck decor from pinterest. I have a  metal truck like the one in the picture that I change out. I have a rug and pillow and want to make a wreath. I also got some cute ornaments for the tree.

When looking for pictures (because it is night-time and I am too lazy to get up and take pictures of mine) I read a terrific tip. They suggested taking an old toy truck and painting it red. I wish I would have thought of/seen that before I bought mine. I am sure I could have found a old toy truck much cheaper.

Last Christmas my 18 year old cat, Lexie, was dying and I never celebrated Christmas - she passed away January 8th and I felt (and still feel) like I lost a 18 year old daughter - she was my best and only friend - I dont have friends to go out with or just talk to on the phone. Losing her devastated me. Besides Christmas decorations mean nothing when you have no love in your life and the only one who even sees them is you.
