2 skeins of fingering weight yarn Biscotte Yarns - Flamel shown in Biscotte Acajou (color A) and Biscotti Biscuit (Color B)

DPN or circular needles US #1.5 (2.5 mm) and US #2.5 (3 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.

1 tapestry needle

Gauge: 30 sts = 10 cm (4 in) in fairisle with larger needles. Size : Woman one-size (foot length is adjustable).

This pattern is worked in fairisle from the top down so you will read the chart upside down. There are several techniques to work fairisle, if youve never knit fairisle before or need more information about this technique, you will find several free tutorials online, including videos on YouTube. Since the sock goes up to the knee, we need to start with a larger circumference to fit the calf. Therefore, the leg shaping is done by decreasing in the center-back.
