The robins design is from TWOCS 247 and I stitched it on opalescent cashel linen. The stitched piece has been mounted onto a flatfold finish using stiff card, cotton backing fabric and silver ric-rac. You can find tutorials for flatfolds at Mearis Musings and The Twisted Stitcher.
The two pairs of mini ice skates tree ornaments can be found in Crossstitcher 298 - again stitched on opalescent cashel linen. The blades are giant paper clips. To construct each boot I used the backstitch method to join front and back pieces, similar to making up a biscornu, much easier than using a sewing machine on such small pieces.
Happy Crimbo everyone!!!! Happy stitching and finishing!!
