Indonesias BATIK from Maluku

Hi everyone,, im gonna show you one of hundreds BATIK motif in INDONESIA
BATIK motif Cengkeh from Maluku, North Sulawesi.
This my contribute to my country,, preserve the heritage of traditional fabrics.
Last November 2017, I was a participant in Cross Stitch Exhibition "Kristik Untuk Indonesia"

Batik also is done in India, but its a art of dyeing the cloth, not in stitching, your stitching it gives it another dimension

yes,,batik is art of dyeing of the cloth. Our designer transform it to cross stitch pattern,, and I stitched it :)

Our local designer names Thomas Subandriyo. But unfortunately as I know,,the pattern cant be traded. But you can ask him for further information :)
