Perfect for something between a biggish shawl and smaller wrap, possible to use it as both in a variety of ways.
Because of the wide ribbing part, the wrap-shawl stays well put in different positions, drapes well, adheres well, snugs well.
I would recommend this pattern for two different colors, when yarn is limited and you want to use every bit of .
The gauge is not important, you can chose any type of the yarn with the needle size you like and feel that is giving you the right gauge and drape and size of the final garment. You can knit as long as your yardage permits, or stop when the size suits you.
