Add Comments and Rate to a thread?

I cant seem to find how to add a comment to an existing post in a thread?  Ive looked for buttons on the side but cant see anything & search turns up nothing.
The same goes for rating a thread?

Can anyone help?

For those who would like to know.  I finally figured out why I cant post a comment or add a rate to a post/thread.  Your user group level has to be DIY.1 or above.  My user group is still at DIY.0, being a new user.

Yep, I have the same issue due to being a newbie member to the forum. We need to level up to be able to do/view a range of different things :)
