Very easy
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 1 cup of flour;
- 3 eggs;
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder;
- rum flavor or a couple tsp. of liqueur (the liqueur should be combined with bananas taste);
- 5 small bananas or less if bananas are large;
- 1 tbsp. of apricot confiture, or apple confiture, or other light jam/confiture for caramel crust;
- 1 tsp. of powdered sugar;
- cake form.
Mix eggs, sugar and flavor (liquor) to white, add flour and baking powder. Then clean bananas and slice them. Lubricate the cake form, pour out 1/2 of dough and quickly put banana circles (don't forget that the bananas get dark). Pour last 1/2 of the dough and put cake form into the oven 180 degrees for about 30 minutes (check doneness by a toothpick or a culinary stick). Then mix jam with 1 tbsp. of water and 1 tsp. of powdered sugar. After 30 minutes, take your cake out and lubricate the surface by jam mass, put into the oven for another 10-15 minutes to caramelize the crust.
Take the cake out, cool it (it can also be eaten warm), serve it chocolate sauce or cream.
Enjoy your cake!
Bon appetit!
PS You can bake the same cake with other fruits that you like or that you have atm.
