That is bizarre! I've never seen thread melt before. DMC is full cotton that can't melt so i assume you used some other brand?

Anchor is 100% cotton aswell. Maybe its a bad batch of thread. Whatever the cause is, its still heartbreaking to see your hard work ruined. Best of luck with trying to restore it.  Post time 2018-1-31 04:16
