I am not able to upload and change avatar

It seems something is not working properly, when I try.
Is anyone else having this issue?

Make sure the image you plan to use for the avatar is not too large

I am not aware of any uploading issues.

Since you cant send Private Messages yet, I will address this issue here -
When uploading a magazine, it is helpful if you combine all the pdf files to create only one large PDF.

When you have the PDF, then you can compress it in 10mb parts.

This can be done with jpg images as well.

Thx for the link regarding the avatar. guess my picture must be too large. I will look in to that.
The guide does not mention the max size allowed, but my guess would be the usual 10 MB?


Regarding my uploads....

The books, recipes & magazines i have, are all one book/magazine pr. PDF.
The single Book/Magazine pdf-file are often way larger than 10 MB.


Before upload here, i therefore spend time on splitting the big PDF into smaller PDF´s, with a max size of 10 MB.
To do that, I use an App/program, and the uploads you have seen is the outcome.


I dont know how else to do it.
The thing is, that I am working on an ipad, so I have no access to winzip/winrar.


I have tried some zipping/compressing apps, but it does not make them that much smaller, and I have not been able to find an app, that lets me choose the outcome size when zipping.


I must admit, that I am getting quite frustated spending time making threads, that fails to get approved.

If you are able to compress one PDF into 10mb parts, that would be appreciated. I have been fixing your posts but frankly it is getting time consuming.

Thx for fixing posts of mine.
I thought they meet the criteria, as long as I kept the files under 10 MB.  

As I wrote, I am not able to do it any other way. So i guess I have to stop uploading.
The apps i have found to compress, do not let me choose maxumum outcome size.

I thought I was contributing in a good way with my uploads
I dont want to waste time for both of us.

Can you scan the files as jpegs instead of pdfs?
