My apologies if I am doing this wrong. I am new here and have not yet gotten the hang of the forum. -.-
I am hoping someone here can explain it for me, or break it down for me how to turn a scanned pattern into a repaint. I currently have PCStitch 10 (have tried to get Pattern Maker, but so far cant get a working copy.) and am working in that for now. I have the scans of the pattern I need to convert. I have even figured how to import *sections* of the pattern into PCStitch as an underlay so I can - technically speaking - paint over it. However, no matter what I have tried, the grid in the pattern does NOT line up with the grid in the program. So repainting is. . .funky at best. Ive even taken the scan into Photoshop and tried to make sure its straight there. But no go. It invariably starts off all right, then falls more and more out of alignment as I go.
Is there any way to make this better? Or do I simply need to take bad-scans and copy them visually into the prgram? (Not really wanting to do that! Repainting I can do. Its sort of fun/relaxing. Like a colouring book. Copying? Will take more counting. rotflol)
