Crochet Blanket for a man

I am thinking of making my husband a throw for his chair (double points for me as it will save my couch from getting dirty too LOL).

Does anyone have any pattern recommendations?

Any simple stitch pattern will probably work, in a color he likes.  I did my husband one in grey that he uses in his office.  In my family the men like simple and not decorated, or fussy.
