What do you prefer to crochet with?

What do you prefer and why? For me right now I am enjoying premium acrylic yarns simply for the freedom and affordability of them :)

I am enjoying acrylic lately, though I do think cotton comes in some lovely colours

Usually I use mix...50% wool and 50% acrylic :)

I like cotton very very much. Its tidier, especially when working on amigurumis.

Acrylic is nice but Im allergic, so cotton

Acrylic. :) I am also allergic, so I always work on a mask. (Im also allergic to cotton. And wool. Aaand everything. -.-" I have not used woolen yarn for a long time, only Italian wool for felting if it is needed for the amigurumi.

I like more cotton, but yew with any thread.

I prefer mix it tend to be softer that cotton with a bit more flexibility, however I use cotton as well it really depends on the project.
