Free PDF editing programs

What do you use? What do you recommend?

I am trying to find something just for personal use. I have a few patterns I need to translate and I would like to be able to take out the original text and replace it with english :)

I use PDF-XChange Editor.  Its less invasive than Acrobat, takes less space and is free.  I find it very easy to use and is very feature rich.
