Quiet Journey is an asymmetrical triangular shawl with a curved top edge. It combines alternating stockinette/garter sections with a lacy and textured slip-stitch pattern to highlight the beautiful subtle shadings of hand-dyed semisolid and tonal yarns.
The shawl is relaxing to make, knits up quickly and is easy to wear! You‘ll start knitting with just a few stitches at the right tip, then work your way across to the left edge; you can make the shawl as small or big as you like or your yarn allows.
You can use any fingering to dk weight yarn. Solid, semisolid or tonal hand-dyed yarns work really well.
Allow approx. 400-500m/420-545yds to get the given size; pattern is easily adjustable to the yardage you have.
