Blue mere is triangular shawl inspired by water surface of nature lake - calm shades of blue during early morning. The shawl is worked flat from center to the sides. The elegancy of this piece lies in its simplicity. Choose four shades of your favourite colour in order from the darkest to the lightest one. Any tweed yarn will work great with this pattern.
This would be a great first shawl knit, as it gives you all the basics.
Even though the pattern is written for fingering weight yarn, you can use any weight yarn you desire with appropriate needle size.
