How to open certain files?

Hi, i have downloaded a file for a pattern and the file extension is Pat format. Im using my android tablet and phone and cannot open it. Does anybody know what app I need to open the file? Thank you

Unfortunately I dont have a pc/laptop so I am unable to use the sortware. I wish I had checked before downloading the file.
