Gauge not critical for fit for either size.

PATTERN NOTES: Read the entire pattern entirely before beginning to familiarize yourself with the project. Colors are never broken. Strand them along the edge of the shawl. When working more than two rows of color, keep colors locked by twisting the working color over the other color at the beginning of each odd (RS) row. Gauge is not important for fit, but if you are using the recommended yarn or similar yardage, it is important for yardage, so check gauge as well before beginning.
