I bought a crochet pattern for a dog which is not very detailed. I want to crochet the paws and I do not really understand what I need to do.
My last round:
Rnd: 14: *11 single crochet, 1 decrease* x 2
and now the part I do not understand:
Crochet 5 extra single crochet stitches and start crocheting the heel back and forth
Row 1: 4 single crochet,1 slipstitch
Row 2: 5 single crochet, 1 slipstitch
....
Q1: What does it mean: "Crochet 5 extra crochet stitches"?
Q2: How do I increase the stitches from Row 1 to 2 without increasing?
Many thanks in advance for your help!
When someone visits this page from a link you share, you will be rewarded
i think ,after rnd 14, you have 10 sc. then you crochet onley 5 not 10 for rnd 1. round 2 you go back, so you skip the first stich becouse
that is where you are, so you crochet 4 sc and a slip stich, turn again, skip the slip stich, en crochet 5 sc. (use the sc you skipt in round 2)
As I understand it, you need to knit a heel. First, knit a 4 column and 1 air loop, turn the knitting and knit with 5 columns and 1 air loop. And further on description.
Starting the new section, place your stitch marker. Crochet 5 SC into the previois row. Turn your work. You are working in rows, not rounds.
Sc 4, then slip stitch.
Turn your work again, SC 5 then slip stitch again.
The project will increase gradually, as you go on. ☺
Sorry I took it to mean to do 5 sc crochet in one stitch like a shell and then crochet back and forth on those 5 stitches to make the heel...hope that helps....
