Original and updated patterns

Hi. I have noticed that when an updated pattern is posted the original is being recycled. While it is good to have an updated version available I dont think it should replace the prior pattern. Some of these patterns cost a lot of coins and I dont think its fair to those who have purchased them for them to be removed. What do others think about this?

IMHO this site is just a "forum" and is not the right tool for management of versioned downloads. You are right, I dont see why not have all the versions, or a way to access all the versions, but there is a huge human effort (moderation, clean-up) in place to make up for shortcomings in the software.

I agree. Why recycle the first posting and not the second?

I am new here but I think when  new pattern uploaded and is better than first, it replaces so you have better one. Old one then recycle yes?
Why keep bad copy when new one much better?

I think it work this way yes?

If you already bought the old copy it is frustrating not to be able to access it.
