You get to higher levels by being active. Post patterns, and reply to already posted patterns. That is how you gain credits, which is what is needed to get to higer levels. If you put the words "level up" into the search bar, youll find several threads that explain how this works.
I dont think anyone can actually purchase higher user groups (levels). I have at least never heard of that in all the years Ive been on here.
