a couple of questions...

Hello and Happy New Year to everyone!!! :P
Im a very recent member and really very glad Ive found this site with people sharing the same kind of hobbies with me.
Im especially interesting in cross stitching and needlework and Ive read the forum rules; however, since Im not very keen yet in how things are working here, I would like to ask a couple of questions:
- when I post an individual pattern does it have to be from a magazine or can it also be from bought loose leaflets?
- I happen to have some old magazines, some of them Greek; can I attach an english translation of the key color guide to the pattern Ill post?
- when I want to post my progress of work, what should I note and do and which field is preferrable to do so? Stitch diary?
- what is Digest???

Thank you in advance for your help and I hope to add soon some feedback in your beautiful stitching library (and why not in Other Hand Works, too?)!

from "Scanned Pattern Section Rules":
9) When posting an individual pattern from a magazine, you must mention the issue number or date and name of the magazine. If the magazine is posted with separate patterns in Magazine section, then it cannot be posted in the Scanned section.

Hi, Have a very good new year :D
when you upload a pattern if belongs to a magazine you cant upload if the magazine is already in here, the single patterns that you buy you can upload one by one because they are individual :)
You can upload magazines too in the magazine\book theard.
Make sure you use the new upload system :) ( Post new thread (All Book Resources Patterns Magazine) to patterns  or Post new thread (All Diary Jobs) to works completed or in progress.

If you will post Greek magazines perhaps translation is not needed as long as the floss used is clear. Progress work should be posted in stitch diary.
Digest is given to very populair patterns scanned or repainted in high quality, digest is given by Moderators.
This is all about cross stitching. As about other hand works, ask the moderator who works there, I have no answer to that question.
