This hat is meant to be worn like a hood or bonnet. The total fabric circumference is 16", but the hood should be worn around the back of the head with the face creating the complete circumference. Because of the roundness of the head, the hood will pull up in length, and the top corner will become a point. Because of this versatility in fit, and the adjustable cinching of the cords, the hood can fit a range from ages five to ten.
