Questions of disappearing coins and bounty

I have navigate this forum for years on and off and never gotten the hang of it yet. Im having some difficulties and a few questions that I cannot find the answers for.

First ones first and I feel very daft. I do not understand how the coins are used to pay for a download. There are times where the download says it would cost 50 coins but way more than 50 coins were removed from my balance.
Second can I accidentally be charged for a pattern more than once? I downloaded a pattern years ago, bossk file and just decided to download it again. I dont know, was I recharged for that?

Thirdly, also years ago I published a bounty for a pattern that I desperately wanted. I offered almost all of my coins for it too, something that I absolutely regret now! But I cant find where I can get the pattern that I wanted... Bless me or even be remembered what I wanted so badly. Any help for that.

Lastly, thank you. I know how mind numbing it can be to be asked the same exact questions over and over. I hope that I have new twist to problems to make it at least a little unique :-)

Bad news:
If it says "the download will cost 50 coins" then 50 GC + 30 Gold Coins (for any download) will be removed from your balance. Total 80 GC.

Press "My Center" -> "Threads" and you see all your threads in this Forum.

Like Poppy said, the whole cost of a download is always = (the cost of the download established by the uploader) + (30 GCs PER file - its a site cost for hosting), so if a pattern is listed as costing 100 GCs its actually 130Gcs, if its only one file. If there are parts, you either only must pay additional 30GCs per part/file, or eve more if parts are also "priced" by the uploader.

As for downloading after buying something years ago, Im not sure its still available. That is, the site probably had some maintenance done during those years, and your downloads might not be listed as "bought" any more. Check your "iBooks" section. But, from my experience, I registered here in 2016 I think, and Im sure I downloaded patterns before, but my download history - in iBooks - goes back only to last Summer.

And yes, you can check all the threads you started in your "My Center", like Poppy said. But, again, Im not sure it wasnt wiped out by now.

After reading all questions and answers on this page, I would like to ask you one , and maybe you can help me with my problem.
10 days ago or maybe more, I placed a bounty for a Margaret Sherry cross stitch design for 1000 points.
The points were immediately removed from my account, but my bounty appeared nowhere...
Why and what can I do about it ?

The word "Publish" will be on your Bounty post. Once you click on it then your bounty will be seen. The gold coins stay on hold until someone answers then gets released to them. If no one answers you dont get them back. Or lets say you decide to buy the pattern & post it yourself, you still cant claim the reward. However, you could have them rewarded to a reply on your bounty as far as I know. You would have to go through an Admin to do that. Once a bounty is posted your coins are gone. Hope this helps.
