rar file downloading as pdf

I have been trying to download this file http://www.pindiy.com/forum.php? ... erlocking%2Bcrochet for the Interlocking Crochet Magazine.  They are rar. files and when I try to download them my computer automatically downloads them as pdf and I cannot get them to open for the life of me.  How do I get these files?

Does your computer somehow rename the files to .pdf, even though they are .rar files?

Did you in case try renaming them back to .rar?

Probably you must change your download settings... Did every rar file download as a pdf file on your device?

Make sure that you have downloaded all 7 of the files into the same directory.  They cant be different locations.  Once ALL the files are downloaded, if any one of them says .PDF, rename it .RAR.  Then click on the first of the files to open up the archive.  Some computers are set up so that it looks like when you open up an archive, you are still in explorer.  It will show the contents in a file explorer window.  You still have to extract the file from the archive to read it.  If thats the case, highlight the file, and try right clicking on it.  See if you have an option to extract the file that way.  Hope this helps.
