Discarded paperback books to Christmas trees

A project of taking books headed from the library to the trash and we turned the old books into decorative Christmas trees. The children did a good job!

I remember making these as a kid. I showed my daughter how to make them on a very long airplane flight. Folding up that old magazine kept her entertained.

Thanks for sharing! very cute craft. Have you tried to cut patterns into the paper? Does it work? Or does it just fall apart
