This easy sweater is knit top down, seamlessly and in the round starting at the neckline. The two-color colorwork chart is easy to follow and intuitive, even for the inexperienced colorworker.
While my sample hits at upper hip, you can easily add or subtract length if desired. Since this sweater is knit from the top down, just try on you go and choose the length that looks best on you.
This design is suitable for various yarns. Choose yarn from your favorite hand dyer, a rustic woolly wool, gradients, or hold a strand of mohair with a light fingering yarn. At a gauge of 5.5 stitches to the inch, fingering or sport weight yarn will work equally well.
