Bounty request

Hi,
I just wondered when the moderator contacts you to let you know who to reward the bounty too? Do they wait until a certain number of replies or a certain time from? Thanks!

When the bounty is uploaded you have to manually report it here: http://www.pindiy.com//forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=375339
A mod will then make the payment

Sorry I am new to asking for a pattern,so am a little confused?  so as the person who is seeking the pattern and offering the reward I have to also post on the link above or is that for people who want to claim the bounty? Thanks!

Anyone whom discovers a bounty that has been answered (anyone whom notices a bounty post and a post with the pattern requested in the bounty) can post to the Report thread for bounties.

Not unless a post with the pattern youre looking for has been published. The replies mostly are people saying "thank you" or "good luck".

You only post to the Report thread for bounties if you see a pattern published that there is also a bounty for, and you give links to both.

ah ok, I thought the non viewable posts would be people saying they had the pattern! So the moderator will contact me once a pattern has been posted in the replies? Thanks for all your help! The first time in doing it is confusing but once I have done one I will know what to expect next time!

The pattern will not be posted in the replies, it will be posted in the appropriate sub category of the forum, such as a knitting pattern will be posted in the knitting area and so on.

And a moderator should contact you to let you know how to proceed with getting the bounty reward to the correct member once a pattern youve made a bounty for is posted.

Youll get the hang of it, dont worry :-)
