Id like to give a try to the cathedral rose afghan (Cf. picture) but cant seem to find good yarn... The window is supposed to be blue with some red patches.
Part of the problem is that I would like to use 100% cotton only.
So my first question is : Have you got any suggestions on what multicoloured cotton yarn I could use? I cant find the right colours.
Second question is : If there is no multicoloured yarn that would be suitable, do you think it would look good if I crochet with two threads of different colour twisted together? Has anyone ever tried that?
Last question ! :) Has anyone attempted to make this beautiful pattern? The written pattern does not seem to be very accessible (I mean, the way it is written).
Thank you !

I would suggest you find a multi-colour yarn that you love and then from that choose the solids. The pattern suggests Red Heart yarn to use but Im not sure youll find those colours. Try knit picks . com. They have lots of yarns to choose from. You may find what youre looking for there.
Im having a hard time choosing as I would like a yarn having blue and red tints... and I cant find one! But Ill keep your piece of advice in mind, thnk you!
