Our niece is expecting her first baby, who will also be the first baby of her generation in the family. So, I made a handful of items for her baby shower. She didnt appreciate any of it at all. However, her mom (my beloved sister-in-la*) really did, and so did my mother-in-la* as well as my hubby. I admit that our nieces indifference did hurt, but I try to think as if I made these for family members who actually appreciate handmade items that were customized for recipients.
(There is a dozen more; here is the first batch of pictures.)
Nieces husband is a wonderful young man; the whole family adores him. Since the father-to-be is such a huge Star Wars fan, I made this Star Wars set for him to the baby. He was so surprised to see these, and you could tell he truly loved them. Got to say, the huge smile and twinkle in his eyes were worth all the hardwork.

(I inserted a small easter egg filled with rice in the lightsabor to make it a baby rattle)
These are totally awesome Stitchingcp :loveliness: I would have adored receiving these as a baby shower gift. How sweet of you to do things that the babys daddy will enjoy. Very thoughtful and so fun ;P Great work! Maybe she will come around to appreciate them later, I hope so. Thanks for showing us, I just love them!
