If there is a will, there is a way. I think it is "easier" - if it can be called easier - if your amigurumi making crochet skills are fairly good - to look at the items you want to make and approximate what they would be in single crochet. Heads, limbs, are quite straightforward. It would be harder, for instance, to replicate a pattern in a blanket perhaps. I have often looked at things and figured out how to make without a pattern, also from knitting if it were amigurumi. Give it a try. There are some sites that give basic amigurumi instructions for bodies, heads, limbs, and facial features. Experiment and have some fun with it. |
