im sure others have had this problem and I would like to propose a resolution.  Moderaters should contact you if you have not stated the pattern is free in your listing prior to posting your submission.  I’ve had several patterns listed this way and I’m pretty disappointed that we have absolutely no power to change it.

If you got the pattern for free online, like a free Ravelry download, it should be listed as free in this forum. The maximum you can charge for a free pattern is 10 coins.

I found the pattern in question as a free Ravelry download, bunbunb. I saw you other post and looked it up. Its free on Ravelry. If you paid for it, give mods a link.  Post time 2019-7-16 23:36

Im assuming you mean you paid for a pattern and forgot to put a GC cost on it?  I agree, Ive done it myself.  What I find more disturbing is those who get FREE patterns and post them WELL ABOVE THE 10 GC theyre allowed to.  Moderators DO NOT FIX THAT.  Ive reported them and nothing has happened.  The majority of my patterns are paid patterns and the ones that are free are marked as FREE with the appropriate 10 GCs or under.

The moderator changed her title to include the word "free", reduced the charge to 10 coins, and left a comment about rules for both title and coin charge.

I see said the blind man. Id be pretty upset with the person who has it on Ravelry for free and charges on Etsy! Id be contacting Etsy and finding out why I had to pay when others got it for free.  Details Reply Post time 2019-7-18 01:48

My intention was to explain what happened. My intention was not to offend. What could I have done differently?  Details Reply Post time 2019-7-17 12:14
