Hello,

My name is Estefania Cubiña, and I am the designer of the pattern that you have illegitimately downloaded from Pindiy.

Possibly, you have downloaded this pattern without knowing that someone uploaded it without my permission. They used my photos, my name and my own file to financially take profit of someone else’s effort.

I, the creator of the design that I suppose you have downloaded and knitted, I have not seen a single euro, I have gotten no likes and I have not received your support in order to create more patterns.

Actions like this, portals like this, kill small creators like me; we are totally defenseless. It is only in your power to help that these practices are not carried out, simply by unsubscribing, by not acquiring illegal patterns, by not sharing patterns that are not yours, by purchasing at the designers website or in Ravelry, where I am the one who uploads my own work and where I am the one who decides to offer them free-of-charge or at a cost. Because behind every pattern there is a huge amount of work that I assure you does not cost the 5€ that a pattern is worth.

Please, do really think about it, if it is worth spending 5€  helping the very designer who created a pattern that you love, or to get it for free or buy it in a pirate portal where a computer giant is benefiting from it, a giant who is totally indifferent towards what it sells. For your knowledge, in this portal (Pindiy) all the patterns are illegitimate copies. ‘Gratis’ does not exist, and you are paying to someone who does not have the authorship.

Is it really worth it?

When someone visits this page from a link you share, you will be rewarded
