Bounty Area Question

Hi! I was looking in the Bounty area and found that I could participate with some of the wanted patterns. But how do I know if the pattern has already been uploaded? I searched for them first and couldnt find them, but then I saw that there are allready several hidden comments. Does that mean that the pattern already has been uploaded? Is it just a waste of time to upload when there are "answers" allready?  Does anybody know? :)

Those comments are usually just saying "good luck" or - for some reason - "thank you".

If you cannot find the pattern by searching, chances are its not here. Its always a good idea to use a few different search terms for each pattern.

Thank you very much! I suspected it might be something like that, but when you cant read the post you get ideas in your head... :lol I dont want to waste the time of the moderators either if I can help it. ;)

Thank you! I did read that. :) I have one more question though... One of the patterns I could upload is actually a part of a book and the book is already uploaded in its whole. I think I remember reading somewhere that you shouldnt upload partial books? Should I somehow report the Bounty post? I cant send PM because Im too new?

Yes,you are right, we don`t accept individual patterns that has been taken from a book , magazine or booklet.
