Hello to all my old Friends!

Hi everyone! Its been a long, long time since Ive been over here. I dont know how many of the old gang are still here, but wanted to stop in and see you all. I have been cross-stitching, but also picked up another hobby, adult coloring! I hope we can start adding more in that area. Anyway, lovely to see you all again, and a HI to the ones I dont know. ;)

Hi Evenflo09, nice to have you back.   I understand the need to colour.  Ive many books myself and thought some would make awesome crewel designs or surface embroidery.

Hi. Adult coloring is the same as coloring for children except the books or downloadable pages are mainly colored with colored pencils or markers. Any medium can be used though. It helps relieve stress, and is lots of fun. You can color like a child does, or you can try to learn how to color shadowed areas and lights areas. Ive found that the more I practice, the easier it is to get beautiful results. There are a few coloring book downloads here in the magazine section in other handworks, or type coloring book in the search. :)
