this is my first orchid. I dont have a house very good for growing houseplants they always die. I was gifted this on mothers day and it had beautiful purple flowers and was very small just 2 leaves. all the flowers dropped and i wasnt sure what to do. I googled and from what i gathered i should cut the stems. I did and now a month or so later I see green starting to grow from the stem! Im very excited and proud ive kept it alive. I think it needs to be repotted so more research and I hope to see more beautiful flowers in spring
