opening XSD files

There are sooo many beautiful XSD file patterns that I am intrested in getting.  However, I do not know what program opens these files.  None of the programs I have will open them.  Anyone have any suggestions or information, it would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded PatternMaker so I could open XSD files.  I still couldn’t get the pattern.  I tried a few other programs with no luck ☹️.  If you figure it out let me know.  Good luck

I do believe when installing the program you have to select the English install.  I do believe the instructions are here on the board.

I did not upload the file so I am not sure, just posted the link here for you. There may be another version on PatternMaker here on the board. PatternMaker is the correct program to open XSD files. For PCS files you need to use PCStitch which is also here on the board. Look in the Cross Stitch Software section in Cross Stitch. Good luck :loveliness:

There is another thread which has the install package as a purchasable .zip - which is in russian, and a bit larger, but for those who want a smaller and direct download, Ive listed the link above, you need to add the http front tag. As a side note, Hobbyware, the dev company behind Pattern Maker, have closed down as of end of 2019, so its a good idea to keep a copy of your install file safe, just in case.
