I was wondering does downloading/buying patterns do anything for credits/gold/levels ect. ???

Yes, Mostly "gold coins" enough for download patterns ... Some users put their posts level permissions but not more lv.2 ...

No, downloading/buying (AFAIK) does nothing to level you up.

You get gold coins by selling patterns.

You get credits by the formula here: http://www.pindiy.com/home.php?m ... it&showcredit=1
Credits = ( Posts×0.1 + Threads×0.26 + Digests×5 + Online Time (h)/1.5 )

You get leveled up when you reach a certain # of credits.

I know what credits mean and I found that link too but still dont know what is meant by that specific rule
