Love this and the colors you chose!

Thank you! I used Red Super Saver Ombre yarn in a variety of different colors. They had a bunch on sale at the store and the colors I used was just what was left, but when I saw them on the shelf all beside each other I immediately thought of making an afghan with it!

That's beautiful! I haven't done such a big project yet because of the time it takes but I would love to do one.

Thank you! It was very comforting to make. It was sort of a stress afghan for me and it was nice working on it every night before bed. It relaxed me.

That's why I put off making an afghan or such a long time! And to be honest, it does get repetitive quickly. For my next afghan I think I would like to do a pattern that's more complex or changes more, or perhaps make a afghan out of different granny squares, that way it doesn't feel like I'm doing the same repetitive thing over and over again for so long. On the other hand, though, the repetitive actions were very relaxing for me. There are pros and cons to both types, I think.

You've done a lovely job of it! Maybe a good one to do in front of the tv if it gets dull. O can get bored of patterns very quickly. Or yeah I like the idea of different granny squares all put togther, interesting and varied and it would be fun to make something totally unique!
