[Finished Crafts] My first afghan!

I think what I would need to do in the future is have 2 simultaneous afghans going, one would be a scrapghan that I make out of a bunch of varies granny sqaures, constantly changing up the patterns, sometimes freehanding it, and just generally keeping everything exciting. The other would be similar to this one that I've already made where it's methodical and relaxing and has a really visually appealing final result. This way if I ever get bored making the latter project I start the former, and if I'm doing the former and want to relax myself, get ready for bed, or do something that I can zone out as opposed to carefully counting every stitch, then I'd switch to the latter! I don't usually keep several simultaneous projects going at once, but I think this method I would enjoy.

The entire blanket is made up of single crochet, double crochet and triple crochet. I tried to post a link to the pattern, but I can't post links. Just google onward and upward scrap afghan.  Post time 2020-1-29 23:02
