Had the town inspector come today to say yes or no if a small renovation we want is permitted.  He said yes.  I am happy.

Make kitchen smaller, minor kitchen renovation, use the extra space to create a guest room. Involves moving an inside wall which we were concerned about before we hire contractors.  Post time 2020-1-26 12:13

Excited but nervous. Needed to be sure it can be done and would be allowed before we spend on plans, hire contractors, etc. Wish we had the original blueprints to calm our nerves.  Post time 2020-1-26 12:15

Welcome to my world.   Weve been under renovations since the end of November...........fingers crossed he finishes next week.

Yes, we have 2.5 bathrooms. So the main bath will need paint and the 2 piece or half bathroom just needs paint. All of the fixtures and tile were replaced upstairs, new vanity and flooring down here  Post time 2020-1-27 13:28

Heres hoping it all goes well. Spent my day yesterday painting my 2 piece bath. The main bathroom is next. At least the toilet has been removed........so much easier to paint!  Post time 2020-1-26 22:14
