If you find something in recycled it is probably a duplicate so look for where else it appears. Otherwise I think it could be there because it was not suitable for some other reason like its incomplete or bad quality to read or has watermark or something else against the rules. Recycled is basically trash but still there so who ever put it can see what happened to their post because if you post something that is duplicate or other issue then you get a notice that it is recycled.  I think basically its forums for the moderators to use, not us members.

Everything has time stamps too so you see what was posted before you etc. when you post a duplicate.

Thats what I understand so far myself. I dont know what is recycled different from recycled-checked other than I think its for the moderators system of doing things in recycling.

Okay, additional question. I just purchased a pattern and I wanted to share it with the forum here since it was the whole reason I joined and I couldnt find it for the life of me, but apparently I dont have permissions to post into the crochet patterns forum. How do I get these permissions? Do I have to level up first?

So on that forum you linked I found this thread - http://www.pindiy.com/thread-376726-1-1.html and its explaining how to upload it properly, but it links again to the pattern forum here http://www.pindiy.com/forum-CrochetPatternsResources-1.html which I dont have permissions to post in. I read the entire post just in case and nothing is said anywhere about lacking the permissions to post or how to gain the permissions to post, which is what Im needing help with. Ill keep searching, but perhaps theres some information you could give me that Im missing?

Okay, I think Ive figured out the issue. I just need to select "Crochet Info." from the drop down menu and then it looks like the type of post displayed in the screenshots of the tutorials. I read the crochet and cross stitch tutorials and both said "select the proper option from the drop down" or something similar, so perhaps an edit could make it more clear for people in the future?

Thank you for your help!
