When "buying" patterns. Where do they go? Where will I find them?

sorry but the other day Ive downloaded a magazine. Ive spend my coins (it costs 100 coins). My coins are gone but no magazine was founded anywhere... in my ibook theres nothing...what I should do? Thanks for the help...
