Opening files

Hi
Ive downloaded a few cross stitch patterns and it says .XSD or .PAT I cant open these files. Can anyone help.
This is an example of the file I downloaded.

These files take special software to open.   PC stitch and Patternmaker.  Both are available for download on this site.  http://www.pindiy.com/forum-CrossStitchSoftware-1.html

Those are Repaint files. PAT (or PCS) opens with PCStitch. XSD opens with PatternMaker. Both programs can be found is the Cross Stitch Software section of the board here; http://www.pindiy.com/forum-CrossStitchSoftware-1.html
