This was made from one of my Knitting & Crochet Magazines. I picked up the magazines originally for the crochet patterns. Then after a while of collecting these magazines I decided ti pick knitting back up so I taught myself how to cast on (My Nan used to do that for me) and I knew how to do the basic knit stitch from when my Nan taught me when I was younger. My friend then helped me learn to purl and then her grandma showed me how to do it properly as I was doing it all backwards lol but since this I have gotten better and made a variety of items..
My butterfly was the 2nd pattern I followed.. I was quite proud of it too.
