Floterian is Anglo-Saxon for fluttering or flickering. The lace motif in this cowl reminded me of butterfly wings, which flutter and flicker in the light, so Floterian seemed an apt name. The lace motif is bordered by a simple cable column, bracketed by lines of twisted stitches. This is a fancy looking cowl, that is actually quite easy to knit. The pattern will just fly by – enjoy!
